yep I had the exact same problem with my Honda HRT216 Quadrant After thinking about it. When the spark plug misfires or misses the mower starts to run too rich because the spark plug isn't firing all the time. It would start up like a champ but it appears that the governor shuts it off especially when you put it under a load. Anyways changing the spark plug fixes cut mower. Exactly. Somewhere else on YouTube the guy said to change the spark plugs. Change the Spark plugs? Well I did and it worked. The mower has a governor and it governs the air from the wheel what is at the end of the string. The governor might be Broke and need replacing. My mower governor to the end of the spring snapped and it ran like yours. It is hard to explainURL: hondalawnmowers.info
